CREATING AN OUT OF THE BOX EVENT FOR CANADIAN BEAUTY EDITORS TO EXPERIENCE NEW HERBAL ESSENCES PRODUCTS

THE CHALLENGE: Create a custom branded summer event for Canadian beauty editors that would engage them without overwhelming them or rely on the overused format of a product launch and lunch.

WE STARTED BY TAKING A CUE FROM NATURE, MAKE A CONNNECTION WITH THE PRODUCTS AND BRAND IT IN A BRIGHT INSPIRING WAY

HOW WE HELPED: The idea Scents Alive came from the simple and alluring scents found in the line of Herbal Essences products. The event took place at the Toronto Botanical Gardens and featured a line-up of new Herbal Essences products with a branded education space. A scent designer from the Proctor and Gamble research facility helped the editors create their own custom fragrances. Custom packaging was created for the editors to package up their fragrances. A mobile app relying on geolocation was designed to allow editors to wander the gardens and interact with the natural elements used to create the new Herbal line lending to the idea of the natural qualities found in the products.
